Kent historical analysis

The analysis provided on this website is based upon the 1664L manuscript, a transcript of which has been published by the British Record Society as part of the British Academy Hearth Tax Project (Harrington, D., S. Pearson & S. Rose, eds., (2000), Kent Hearth Tax Assessment Lady Day 1664, BRS Hearth Tax Series II).
